Fulltime: Software Development Engineer (Mid-Level)

Job Description:

As we are expanding, we are looking for a mid-level software development engineer to join our software development department. This role will work closely with our CTO and senior engineers on all aspects of developing our product. You will be entrusted with the following:

• Applications Development: Research, design, develop, and unit test our applications using Flutter, Firebase, and Google Cloud services primarily.
• Collaborative Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, operations and support managers, and other developers, to deliver feature-rich, intuitive, and user-friendly applications.
• UI/UX Design Integration: Work closely with the UI/UX design team to implement responsive user interfaces and ensure a seamless cross-platform user experience.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and alleviate system performance bottlenecks to ensure application stability and responsiveness.
• API Integration: Integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries throughout our applications to provide reactive user interfaces.
• Ensure Code Quality: Write clean and efficient code, following best practices in coding standards and clear documentation for ease of maintenance and enhancements.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with Flutter updates, cloud services, emerging application design and development trends, and software engineering best practices.
  
  

All you need to possess are:

• Tertiary graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in cross-platform software development using the Flutter framework, and still actively using up-to-date Flutter.
• Familiar with reactive user interface programming using state management solutions such as Provider, GetX, Bloc, or similar.
• Familiar with RESTful API standards and usage.
• Working knowledge of Firebase, including Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is preferred for technical communication.
