IT Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of a software system, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll system implementation using Waterfall/Agile methodology
• Coordinate and manage delivery with smaller / niche vendors
• Act as the primary point of contact between business users, IT, and vendors
• Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Manage project plans, milestones, timelines, and documentation
• Drive UAT, cutover planning, and go-live readiness
• Escalate vendor or delivery challenges proactively to ensure project continuity
• Ensure onsite engagement with stakeholders during critical project phases

Requirements

• Proven 5 Years of experience as a IT Project Manager in system implementation projects
• Prior experience implementing software systems
• Strong experience working with external vendors, including managing delivery challenges
• Solid understanding and hands-on application of Waterfall / Agile project methodology
• Must be based in Malaysia

Contract Details

• Contract duration: 3 months and extendable to 1 year renewable
