About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Specialist with a focus on Manufacturing Finance and supply chain accounting, covering Material Ledger, Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, and Local/Group Consolidation. This role ensures the integrity and stability of financial processes and data in S/4HANA, acting as functional consultant and system expert for financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth month-end/year-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

System Integrity & Financial Accuracy

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across integrated SAP modules and external systems
• Support monthly costing runs and Material Ledger close activities
• Reconcile discrepancies between SAP modules; safeguard data consistency and compliance

Operational & Project Support

• Support month-end/year-end closing for costing and inventory reporting
• Provide third line support and business hand-over for process ownership
• Contribute improvement ideas to the Global template, assist with new functionality deployment
• Support business changes, restructuring, acquisitions, and divestments
• Monitor, test, and validate system changes per Roche IT standards; participate in system upgrades using SolMan

Collaboration & Business Partnership

• Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to align system functionality with business needs
• Act as consultant to the business: analyze requirements, design, build, test, and implement system changes
• Contribute to sprint planning and delivery within a SAFe Agile team (ART)
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years SAP FI/CO experience, with strong hands-on knowledge of:
  • Material Ledger (ML), Product Costing (CO-PC), Intercompany processes
  • Integration areas: Procurement, Demand to Pay, Production, EWM, Quality Management, MP2C, FI
  • Master Data: Material Master, Cost Center, Product Costing Data
• Experience with SAP Service costing (installation, maintenance, spare parts) and Software costing (selling, installation, subscription)
• Basic familiarity with SD, MM, PP integration touchpoints with FI
• Experience with system validation, documentation, and testing (preferably SolMan)
• Proven ability to work in multicultural, global, cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, advanced English proficiency
