Senior Full-Stack Web Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to design, build, and optimize web-based solutions using modern technologies. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders, engineers, and project teams to architect scalable applications that meet both technical and business objectives. You will take ownership of code quality, system performance, and user experience while contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services with NodeJS and client-facing interfaces using ReactJS

• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and engineering solutions in partnership with leadership

• Craft well-structured, readable code that adheres to industry-standard design patterns and principles

• Build and manage API layers that facilitate seamless communication between systems

• Optimize for speed, reliability, and security across all application layers

• Execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit and functional tests; partner with quality assurance on automation

• Participate actively in peer review sessions to elevate code standards across the team

• Identify and resolve defects across development, staging, and live environments

• Maintain clear documentation of features and system behavior

• Monitor emerging tools and frameworks; advocate for adoption when justified

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience

• Five or more years of production software development using NodeJS and ReactJS

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3

• Proven track record delivering one or more complete enterprise applications from conception to deployment

• Experience operating within Agile frameworks with geographically dispersed teams

• Working knowledge of ORM frameworks, Web APIs, and REST architecture

• Hands-on experience with relational database systems (PostgreSQL preferred)

• Competency with state management libraries (Redux, Context API)

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)

• Familiarity with automated deployment and integration tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or equivalent)

• Proven ability to decompose complex problems and synthesize solutions

• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities

• Capability to work effectively within cross-functional groups (UX/design, testing, infrastructure)

• Demonstrated ownership mentality and commitment to continuous skill development

• High standards for code craftsmanship and attention to detail

• Solid time management and ability to balance competing deliverables

Nice to Have

• Industry certifications related to React or cloud infrastructure

• Experience with AWS or Azure environments

• Understanding of containerization and microservices architecture
