Responsibilities
• Independently develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute improvement ideas.
• Ensure backend systems meet reliability, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to deliver features end to end.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements
• Education
• Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons.) or equivalent.
• Experience
• 2+ years full-stack development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Core Technical Skills
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to own and deliver medium-complexity features such as payment integrations or API services.
• Strong capability in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
