SAP Basis Developer
- Country: Klang Valley, Malaysia
Roles and Responsibilities
- To participate in SAP system upgrade, installation, configuration, maintenance and migration
- To support and to perform SAP security design and SAP Basis administration activities such as ID creation and transporting objects to different systems
- To perform SAP performance management
- To document SAP processes, procedures, and plans not limited to changes, upgrades, and new services
- To perform regular maintenance and performance Tuning for Database and SAP systems
- To compose and apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity. Infrastructure Technology Support Analyst for SAP Basis (Installation, Patches, Transport Management, etc.)
- To work closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand their requirements
- To compose functional & technical design document where applicable
- To conduct design review sessions with the customer to demonstrate completed work and gather adjustments and changes
- To plan and to assist the team in drafting statements of work to include estimation of effort/cost
- To provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production related incidents in accordance to the needs
- To interpret briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications
- To determine application functions and to build objectives with the team
- To ensure written code falls in line with the project objectives
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, coding, or related field
- More than 6 years professional experience in SAP BASIS / Netweaver / ABAP Application Server monitoring and administration
- Relevant SAP Certification would be an added advantage
- Relevant experience in SAP on cloud platforms would be an added advantage
- Familiar with SAP ECC and HANA environments
- Expert in investigating and resolving issues related to system performance
- Experience in programming languages ABAP, SQL
- Excellence in leadership, communications skills in written and oral and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with other developers and assist junior team members.
- Meticulous at both analysis and execution.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on helping to create cohesive, collaborative and productive virtual teams
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and analytical skills to solve any technical issues met

Salary: RM8,000.00 – RM12,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
