ETL Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

To conduct design review sessions with the customer or internal stakeholder to demonstrate completed work and gather adjustments and changes
To create reports and documentation of customer case analysis
To do data retrieval and pre-processing from various sources
To execute all necessary test cycles (e.g. System and Integration Test) as per test plan and document results
To validate, to design, to create, and to implement technical specifications
To manage testing across multiple projects and task under tight deadlines
To draft detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed
To assist other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding
To develop and to execute test plans, test queries and detailed test cases based on requirements and customer feedback
To conduct analysis of test results and user requirements for improving overall product quality and application design
To collaborate with development team on bug fix verification and validation such as regression testing
To support, to design, to develop and to enhance test processes and reporting for QA ETL processes
To support Business Users and Business Analysts to prepare and execute UAT Test to ensure scripts meet the affiliate requirements

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
More than 6 years of experience in the appropriate field for this position
Professional experienced with test management tools
Advanced knowledge of Pandas, Tensorflow, Pytorch
Experienced in web and mobile testing
Experienced in all testing phases and activities
Good understanding of Machine Learning and the concept of Data Mining
Responsible for detecting and reporting bugs/defects during testing phases in dedicated tools (Jira/MS excel) and monitor/ communicate resolution.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, SDLC regulatory requirements and processes
Understanding of the complexity of software and software product development
Good knowledge of HP ALM or similar
Experience in CRM, MDM, OM applications and API testing
Knowledge of the automated testing tools and strategies.
Flexibility to attend meetings outside “standard” working hours
Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on helping to create cohesive, collaborative and productive virtual teams
Outstanding problem-solving skills and analytical skills to solve any technical issues met
Ability to manage or to lead multiple large projects with advanced organizational skills
Mandarin Proficiency is a must to support China stakeholders
