Roles and responsibilities

  • To identify and to resolve immediate and potential issues with applications
  • To draft detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed
  • To assist other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding
  • To create a detailed project scope document for the customer, which includes both estimates for the tasks that will be completed and the project schedule
  • To design, to document and to deliver integration procedure from the combination of deep processing skills and broad industry knowledge
  • To guide, mentor, and be responsible for the deliverables of the work performed by developer team
  • To communicate with the project manager, game designers, illustrators, and game testers upon completion of the project
  • To modularize programming and in-charge of the version control
  • To supervise the development and to optimize the processes of the systems
  • To lead a Unity mobile game development team
  • To participate in product testing and the delivery processes
  • To collaborate with the project manager, designers, illustrators and game testers
  • To ensure full compliance with the local and international regulations
  • To collate information and to prepare technical reports or specification sheets in a timely manner

Skills and requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field.
  • Ability to manage or to lead multiple large projects with advanced organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on helping to create cohesive, collaborative and productive virtual teams
  • Mastery of Unity 3D / Unreal and back-end development
  • Experience in game design and balancing
  • Experience in team setup and in version control
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and analytical skills to solve any technical issues met
  • Excellent and written communication in both Mandarin and English for communication with the Hong Kong project management team and technical team
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Verbal communication in Cantonese is a plus
