Java Developer
- Country: Klang Valley, Malaysia
Roles and Responsibilities
- To identify and to solve immediate and potential issues with applications
- To draft detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed
- To assist other developers with troubleshooting, debugging and coding
- To complete tasks and meeting deadlines on fast-paced deliverables
- To create a detailed project scope document for the customer, which includes both estimates for the tasks that will be completed and the project schedule
- To conduct design review sessions with the customer to demonstrate completed work and gather adjustments and changes
- To plan and assist the team in drafting statements of work to include estimation of effort/cost
- To provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production related incidents in accordance to the needs
- To design, to create and to implement Java-based applications
- To interpret briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications
- To determine application functions and to build objectives with the team
- To ensure written code falls in line with the project objectives
- To draft detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed
- To assist other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding
- To meet deadlines on fast-paced deliverables
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, coding, or related field, or at least 1 year in Java-based programming
- Significant coding skills in Java, with other languages being a major plus
- Good understanding on Java fundamentals and COBOL
- Basic understanding of JSON and REST API
- Basic understanding of Spring Framework
- Knowledge in using an Open-Source network and framework will be an advantage
- Knowledge in NoSQL technologies will be an advantage
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be passionate in research & development in the Open-Source framework and Big Data technologies
- Ability to manage or to lead multiple large projects with advanced organizational skills
- Ability to work with other developers and assist junior team members
- Meticulous at both analysis and execution
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on helping to create cohesive, collaborative and productive virtual teams
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and analytical skills to solve any technical issues met

Salary: RM3,000.00 – RM7,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
