Our Performance Marketing Strategy:
At the core of our marketing strategy is a two step process:
- Executing on “gift with purchase” or bundling campaigns to drive sales of Generic Brands (of which there is strong intent for purchase), to encourage sampling of our Emerging Brands. Thereafter,
- Executing on awareness campaigns of Emerging Brands post sampling to encourage sales and purchase of our emerging brand portfolio.
Your Role:
You will be driving our paid marketing strategy across multiple markets and sales channels, including Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, TikTop Shop, and Amazon.
Your Experience, Qualifications & Skill-sets
- You possess around 3 years of experience, ideally in a start-up agency environment, or a hands-on, in-house environment, covering the fast moving consumer goods (“FMCG”) sector. Bonus points if you have worked on the pet sector.
- You excel in at least 2 of the following paid marketing strategies:
- Google SEM
- Shopee or Lazada PPC marketing
- Amazon PPC marketing
- You are proficient in at least 1 of the following paid marketing strategies:
- Meta awareness ads
- TikTop Shop awareness ads
- Shopee & Lazada discovery ads
- You have excellent analytics skills and proven record of interpreting data to drive decision-making
- You graduated from a numerical-related degree (accounting, finance, business, econometrics).
- You can speak and write in professional English, Cantonese and Mandarin

What Does Success Mean?
- You are able to suggest performance marketing campaigns and improvements not just from data obtained from paid campaigns, but be able to work as an integrated unit with channel specialist, designer and product teams to formulate paid campaigns which drive profitability.
- You identify business (not just paid marketing) insights from the campaigns and share such insights with the rest of the team.
- You proactively go outside your comfort zone to learn about the products which are being sold and act as a team-player to drive Algo’s longer term vision.
Indicative Scope of Work:
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid search (PPC), display advertising, and paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to achieve KPIs such as ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend) and CPA (Cost per Acquisition)
- Conduct keyword research, ad copy testing, and audience segmentation to maximize campaign performance
- Analyze SEM performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Develop SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and visibility on search engines
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and product descriptions to improve search engine rankings and attract qualified traffic
- Collaborate closely with designer, brand owners, and e-commerce specialists to strategy and execute strategies
- Manage digital marketing activities on marketplace platforms (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, Amazon) to increase product visibility and sales.
- Work with channel specialists to optimize product listings, keywords, and advertising campaigns within marketplace ecosystems.
- Monitor competitor activity and marketplace trends to capitalize on opportunities for growth.
- Track, analyze, report and improve on key performance metrics including revenue, ROI, traffic sources, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs
- Provide regular performance updates and actionable insights to stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement
- Monitor spending against budgets and adjust strategies based on performance and market conditions
