Responsibilities
• Analyse business and technical requirements to design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Perform end-to-end testing of digital products across multiple platforms (web, mobile, responsive).
• Execute manual testing including functional, UI/UX, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using suitable automation tools.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing on impacted areas for each release cycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ensure defects are clearly documented and tracked using Jira or equivalent tools.
• Assist in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide QA sign-off and support production deployment activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and data scientists, guiding coding and architectural standards.
Requirements
• Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience
• 5 to 7 years of QA experience in a digital or software development environment.
• Strong background testing websites, CMS platforms, and mobile applications.
• Core Skills (Must-Have)
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing (functional, UI/UX, regression, integration, smoke).
• Familiarity with automation tools or scripting such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing and RESTful services (Postman, Swagger).
• Proficiency with issue tracking and test case management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to product quality and user experience.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Good to Have (Added Advantage)
• Experience in performance testing or accessibility testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or automation in build processes.
• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools.
