System Operations and Maintenance

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Full-time remote work with occasional in-person meetings)

Salary Range: RM 5,000 – RM 8,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled System Operations and Maintenance professional to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining LINUX systems on cloud servers, setting up and overseeing development and production environments, and handling various configurations like CDN and OSS. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently deploying systems and should be familiar with application packaging and distribution. Previous development experience and management skills are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain LINUX systems on cloud servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
2. Set up and maintain development and production environments, ensuring they meet the requirements of our applications and services.
3. Configure and manage Content Delivery Network (CDN), Object Storage Service (OSS), and other relevant components to optimize system performance.
4. Independently deploy systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operations.
5. Handle application packaging and distribution, including updates and rollouts.
6. Collaborate with development teams to provide technical support and contribute to system design and architecture discussions.
7. Utilize previous development experience to suggest improvements and optimizations in the system operations and maintenance process.
8. Previous experience in a management role is preferred, as this role may involve overseeing a team in the future.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience in system operations and maintenance, particularly with LINUX systems on cloud servers.
2. Strong familiarity with CDN, OSS, and other relevant configurations.
3. Proficiency in independently deploying and managing systems.
4. Knowledge of application packaging and distribution.
5. Previous development experience is preferred, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with software developers.
6. Previous experience in a management role is preferred.
